The Eagles Witchy Woman riff

Welcome to this week’s coaching session.

Today we’re going to be combining a few techniques together, to re-create the intro for Witchy Woman by The Eagles. I’ve also created a second guitar backing track so you can play this lead harmony line to create a great overall effect!

Hopefully this will give you an appetite for learning some more Eagles. Remember we have some great Eagles Riffs in your Members Riffs Library and also the great Improvisation Sessions where you can play Licks and Solos in the Style of great guitarist and bands such as Guns N Roses, Thin Lizzy, SRV, The Eagles etc. You’ll find them in your Solos and Improvisation library (Full Members).

Members Note: All of the coaching sessions will also be loaded into your online Libraries, so you can come back to them whenever your like. This session will be loaded in the next few days.

Today we're looking at Power Chords and the classic JJ Cale song Cocaine. Although this is very much more in the style of the Eric Clapton version.

Sad news................"The Father of Loud" Jim Marshall, the founder of Marshall amps, died today aged 88. Slash tweeted "The news of Jim Marshall passing is deeply saddening. R & R will never be the same w/out him. But, his amps will live on FOREVER!"

I say, set up yer stack and rock heaven 'till it shakes.

That man defined the heavy rock guitar sound.

Yes it's happy birthday to Johann Sebastian Bach...born in 1685. Did he influence any great rock guitarists????
