Stop thief!

Stop thief!

OK this is the first video that I swiped from Nate’s Blues Guitar Blueprint – I’m hoping he’s cool with this :)

I though I’d start you off with 12 Bar Blues. What is it exactly? Well you may already be totally familiar with this, but if not, there’s a simple rule that you absolutely need to follow.

The standard 12 bar blues progression is the foundation for all four blues chord progressions that are covered in Blues Guitar Blueprint. It is important to know the standard 12 bar blues progression so that no matter who you are playing with, you can just jump right in and go! Once you have this progression down, the other three will be pretty easy for you. Check it out…

If you liked this and want to know more details, just check out this link: Blues Guitar Blueprint

PS. I’ve got a couple more videos that I’ve sneaked out of Nate’s full package. I’ll try and get these posted in the next couple of days. Andy

Hi all, What a win double Andy Partridge and Nate Savage are. I don’t think you could find a better combination to teach the guitar, and at 56 and trying to learn guitar for over 2 years have progressed further in a couple of hours than the last 2 years (and that’s just the free stuff) Just awesome, Thanks to both of you (Andy and Nate)

There is a ton of basic blues like this on the internet – whats lacking in most courses is taking it past the basics to intermediate or advance instruction.

Dear Andy; As most of us know, 90% of the music we listen to today, has something to do with this basic 12 bar Blues progression. One of the most important things to learn in guitar playing, and we can never refresh on the very basics enough. Thanks for all your videos and Emails I’ve received. You can tell that you are a True lover of the music by all of your hard work and dedication to teaching and sharing.

    Thanks Again: J.W.

Today we're looking at Power Chords and the classic JJ Cale song Cocaine. Although this is very much more in the style of the Eric Clapton version.

Sad news................"The Father of Loud" Jim Marshall, the founder of Marshall amps, died today aged 88. Slash tweeted "The news of Jim Marshall passing is deeply saddening. R & R will never be the same w/out him. But, his amps will live on FOREVER!"

I say, set up yer stack and rock heaven 'till it shakes.

That man defined the heavy rock guitar sound.

Yes it's happy birthday to Johann Sebastian Bach...born in 1685. Did he influence any great rock guitarists????
